Update 2:45 p.m.: SD&G O.P.P. report that Anseeuw has been found safe and sound. He was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure. The O.P.P. is thanking the public for their assistance.
GREEN VALLEY – Provincial police are asking for your help in locating an elderly man in South Glengarry.
Gerald Anseeuw, 76, went missing after leaving his home on Glen Roy Road, west of Green Valley, around 4 a.m. this morning (Dec. 14).
He was driving a beige 2007 Buick Allure with Ontario licence plate BVHS 289, police said.
Gerald is described as 6 feet tall, 230 pounds with a heavy build and he is bald. He was wearing a blue parka, blue jeans, a blue stripped button shirt, duck shoes and a Legion baseball hat.
Police are concerned about his wellbeing as he suffers from dementia.
