CORNWALL – A Cornwall woman, accused of being involved in an armed robbery this summer, has had all her charges withdrawn.

Shelley Champagne, 43, had been charged on July 22, 2016 with robbery with a weapon and possession of property obtained by crime.

She and Bradley Mondoux, 23, had been arrested after an east-end store had been robbed at knife point while the perpetrators wore a disguise.

Several bystanders had been threatened with a knife as two people made their getaway.

Court records show Champagne appeared in a Cornwall courtroom on Oct. 20, 2016 where the charges were withdrawn.

It’s likely the charges were dropped as the Crown had successfully prosecuted Mondoux, who is spending two-and-a-half years behind bars.
