Stephanie Grady Memorial Day adds run

(Newswatch Group/File)

INGLESIDE – Runners will be able to remember the life of Stephanie Grady.

Her husband, Nick, is expanding the Stephanie Grady Memorial Day to include a five and 10 kilometer run, as well as a two kilometer walk/run.

The proceeds will go to Camp Erin Eastern Ontario, a camp for grieving children.

The run and memorial day will be held Saturday Oct. 1, 2016.

Stephanie Grady, a St. Lawrence High School teacher from Long Sault, died from a rare form of cancer on May 10, 2014 at the age of 32.

Since that time, an educational pavilion has opened at the Upper Canada Migratory Bird Sanctuary and a memorial walk and family barbecue was held in September 2015.

You can get more information and register for the run here.
