Fourth person arrested in Carleton St. drug bust

CORNWALL – A fourth person has been arrested in connection with a drug bust at a Carleton Street home this week.

Members of the Street Crime Unit and the Cornwall Emergency Response Team moved in on a home Tuesday (Aug. 9) and seized marijuana, cocaine, hash, methamphetamine and some Canadian cash.

Police announced Friday they had arrested a 56-year-old woman from Cornwall on Thursday and charged her with drug possession and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Two men, ages 57 and 42, and a 38-year-old woman – all from Cornwall – were arrested during the Tuesday bust and are facing similar charges.
