Seaway bridge truck traffic jumps

CORNWALL – The number of trucks using the Seaway International Bridge jumped six per cent last month compared the same period last year.

There were 6,726 trucks, which travelled between Cornwall and Hogansburg, N.Y. in June, compared to 6,351 transits in 2015, according to stats from the Seaway International Bridge Corporation.

Car traffic was relatively flat with 196,844 transits compared to 196,292 in 2015.
