
CORNWALL – A man is facing fraud-related charges after a Brookdale Avenue store was the victim of a credit card scheme.
Cornwall police say the suspect went into the store on Thursday (June 23) and bought a bunch of electrical wire with a fraudulently obtained credit card.
Police were called and officers caught the man in the store and arrested him.
They also found he had a number of fraudulent documents.
A 40-year-old man from Toronto is charged with fraud over $5,000, impersonation and uttering forged documents.
