SD&G – With no considerable rain and dry conditions, three SD&G townships issued burning bans today (Friday).
No open burning is allowed in South Stormont or South Dundas until further notice.
North Dundas issued a similar ban late this afternoon.
The conditions were evident yesterday (Thursday) as South Stormont assisted firefighters in North Stormont under mutual aid for a massive brush fire near Moose Creek.
South Stormont firefighters were also battling a brush fire today on McPhail Road, northeast of St. Andrews West.
