OTTAWA – A man severely injured in a single vehicle crash, northwest of Ottawa, has died of his injuries.
The 40-year-old man was pulled from his vehicle on Kinburn Side Road after emergency crews had to use extrication equipment to remove him from the vehicle around 11 p.m. Friday.
The vehicle had gone into a ditch and the victim was unconscious when firefighters got on the scene.
He died from his injuries in hospital on Sunday.
The man won’t be identified at the request of the family, reports the Ottawa Citizen.
CBC News has identified the victim as a man from Cornwall.
A police investigation is ongoing.
