
JONQUIERE, Que. – The Cornwall River Kings find themselves in a do-or-die situation tonight (Saturday) against the Jonquiere Marquis.
Cornwall fell 5-4 in regulation last night (Friday) after a 3-0 lead evaporated in the final period.
Scoring for Cornwall were Nicholas Pard, Francois Ouimet, Nicolas Larocque-Marcoux and Eric Satim.
Nearly 2,000 people were in the stands in Jonquiere.
The Marquis now have a 3-0 lead in the first-round series.
Tonight’s game starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Ed Lumley Arena.
