SD&G – March is coming in like a lion as a winter storm is expected to hit the region tonight (Tuesday), bringing up to 25 centimeters of snow (9.8 inches) with it.
Environment Canada issued a winter storm warning this morning for SD&G and said the snow should begin late this afternoon and will get heavier as the night wears on.
Total snowfall amounts near 25 centimeters (9.8 inches) are likely by Wednesday morning, said the weather agency.
It’s going to be windy as well, producing blowing snow and reduced visibility on the roads.
Meteorologists suggest you consider postponing non-essential travel until the storm passes.
