SD&G – Kids who take the school bus will be leaping for joy on this Leap Day, as school buses have been cancelled across the district.
All school buses for English Public, English Catholic, French Public and French Catholic schools have been cancelled.
It’s due to unsafe, icy conditions on the roads as the region is under a freezing rain warning.
The schools remain open for those that can get to school.
This is the fifth day school buses have been cancelled this month – and this winter.
