SD&G O.P.P. were called to a home on Chess Road in South Dundas just before 11 p.m. last night (Saturday).
The body of Edward Robert Allen, 67, of South Dundas was found inside the home.
“There was a call made from the residence for us to respond,” Const. Joel Doiron told Cornwall Newswatch.
Provincial police have released no other details on the case other than to say they are treating it as suspicious.
The SD&G O.P.P. Crime Unit, under the direction of the O.P.P. Criminal Investigation Branch, is leading the investigation.
An autopsy will be done Monday at the Ottawa hospital.
