CORNWALL – A Cornwall woman has been charged with defrauding the Ontario welfare system.

The woman is said to have failed to declare changes in her living arrangements between April and September last year, which resulted in a $4,419.76 over payment from Ontario Works.

The accused turned herself into city police yesterday (Jan. 6) and is charged with fraud.

Kaila Warwick, 26, will appear in a Cornwall court Feb. 11, 2016.

This is the second time Warwick has been arrested on suspicion of welfare fraud.

In August 2015 she was accused of failing to declare changes in her income from July 2013 to January 2015, which resulted in an over payment of $9223.
