SOUTH STORMONT – A Quebec woman is facing several drug-related charges after a traffic stop on Highway 401 early this morning (Wednesday).
SD&G O.P.P. pulled over a vehicle in South Stormont around 3 a.m. and found marijuana and methamphetamine pills.
A 35-year-old woman from Chertsey, Que. (about 80 kilometers north of Montreal) was arrested and charged with three counts of possession of methamphetamine, one count of possession of marijuana, driving while impaired by a drug and failing to comply with a probation order.
She was held for a bail hearing today.
