Fists fly as Cornwall River Kings fall to Sorel

CORNWALL – A hard fought game ended up in a 3-0 shutout of the Cornwall River Kings by the Sorel-Tracy Eperviers Sunday night at the civic complex.

There were a reported 791 fans in the stands as the matchup with Sorel saw no less than a half dozen fights.

The River Kings are struggling with a record of 0-7-1.

They also lost in St-Georges Friday night 4-3 in a shootout.

Sorel outshot Cornwall 37-28.

Cornwall’s next two games are on the road in Jonquiere Friday Nov. 6 and Sorel-Tracy Nov. 13.
