Drug trafficking operation shut down in Cornwall

CORNWALL – City police have shut down a drug trafficking operation on St. Felix Street with the arrests of three people.

Officers with the Street Crime Unit searched the home this week and arrested three people on Wednesday and Thursday.

Cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine, hydromorphone and Oxycontin was seized during the bust.

A 24-year-old man from Cornwall, a 22-year-old man from Ingleside and a 28-year-old woman from Cornwall are charged with drug possession, possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime.

The 24-year-old is facing additional charges for violating probation order to keep the peace and to not possess drugs.

The trio will be in court Nov. 10.
