CORNWALL – The Cornwall River Kings shut out Sorel-Tracy 6-0 Saturday night at the civic complex.
The pre-season tilt saw the veteran line of Julien Corriveau, J.P. Caron and Antony Courcelles end the night with a seven point performance.
Cornwall goalie Pete Karvouniaris stopped all 19 shots in the opening two periods.
Cornwall has a home-and-home series next weekend with the Laval Predateurs. The River Kings are on the road Friday night and then back home Saturday night at 7:30 p.m.
