CORNWALL – It’s one place that maybe breath mints might be in order.
The Eastern Ontario Garlic Festival starts Sunday at 9 a.m. in Lamoureux Park.
There are many events including the Chuckwagon Breakfast featuring local produce for the first two hours of the festival, followed by the Ironman competition at 11 a.m.
A pie baking contest will take place at 1 p.m. featuring celebrity judges.
The first festival of its kind in Eastern Ontario is a Kozroots Community Empowerment Project, part of Kozroots Garlic & Herbs Farm, just north of Cornwall.
The event ends Sunday at 5 p.m.
