WINCHESTER – A North Dundas man is facing 25 charges – including 18 for alleged probation violations – after a weekend domestic dispute.
SD&G O.P.P. were called to a home on Main Street in Winchester on Sunday night where an altercation had happened between a man and his ex-girlfriend.
Police allege the woman was held against her will and some of her personal belongings were damaged.
Cops said the accused, 35, of North Dundas was also in contravention of several court conditions related to previous incidents.
The man has been charged with two counts of assault, assault with a weapon, two counts of mischief, uttering threats, forcible confinement and 18 counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
He was held in custody pending an appearance in a Cornwall bail court.
