
SD&G – You’ll want to make plans ahead as many stores and services will be closed Wednesday for Canada Day.
Municipal offices across SD&G, including Cornwall city hall, will be closed.
Banks, many retail stores and malls, including Cornwall Square, will be closed.
There will be no garbage or recycling collection in Cornwall on Wednesday. The pickup will be delayed one day for the rest of the week.
Cornwall Transit is not running and the transit office will be closed on July 1.
The Cornwall Public Library and all branches of the SD&G County Library will be closed Wednesday.
In South Stormont, garbage and recycling collection will be delayed one day starting Wednesday (Wednesday pickup on Thursday, Thursday pickup on Friday and so on).
In South Dundas, garbage and recycling will continue as usual.
For North Dundas, the Boyne Road Landfill site is closed. Curbside pickup and recycling will continue as usual.
In North Stormont, garbage and recycling continues as usual.
In North Glengarry, people who normally had garbage and recycling picked up Wednesday will have it picked up today (Tuesday). The schedule for Monday, Thursday and Friday this week is unchanged.
In South Glengarry, garbage and recycling originally scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday will be delayed a day.
