SD&G – No less than eight drivers had their vehicles yanked off the road over the Easter long weekend for speeding.
The drivers – six men and two women – were caught by O.P.P. officers on Highway 401 in SD&G going anywhere from 152 to 170 kilometers an hour.
One man from North York was also charged with driving while under suspension, failing to give identification and failing to notify authorities of a change of address.
In all cases, the vehicle was impounded for seven days and the driver’s permit was also seized for the same amount of time.
