Copper thieves caught on camera

CHESTERVILLE – Local O.P.P. have released still images from surveillance footage in the hope that you may be able to identify some copper wire thieves.

Police say someone entered a commercial property on County Road 43 late Tuesday night, just before midnight.

The culprits then broke into a storage container where they took a dozen spools of copper wire.

As the thieves made their getaway, their car – a small four-door sedan – was caught on surveillance camera.
