
CORNWALL – A Cornwall teen is facing a number of charges after a girl was shot in the eye with a pellet gun in November.
The youth, 16, was arrested Monday and charged with pointing a firearm, careless use of a firearm and unlawfully causing bodily harm.
The girl, 13, who was a friend of the accused had received medical help for damage to her eye though police didn’t indicate whether the victim suffered permanent damage.
The youth turned himself in at police headquarters Monday where he was charged.
His name wasn’t released under provisions in the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
