Union Gas dropping rates

TORONTO – If you heat or use natural gas appliances, it’s one bill you will likely see going down.

Union Gas has announced its customers across the province can expect to see an 11 to 20 per cent decrease in their annual gas bill.

It’s due to a dramatic drop in natural gas prices due to new supply sources.

The Ontario Energy Board still has to rule on the proposed rollback, which would go into effect April 1.

Depending on where you live, it would mean $120 to $168 less a year.
