AKWESASNE – Volunteer firefighters and police from Akwesasne as well as Franklin County, New York emergency crews are still searching for a missing snowmobiler.
The search for two Akwesasne men started yesterday (Sunday) with one of the missing men recovered last night east of Hopkins Point.
A Quebec Provincial Police dive team is coming in to assist in the search for the remaining man.
The search has been made difficult by frigid temperatures, reported to be about minus 36 Celsius with the wind (32 degrees below zero Fahrenheit).
No names have been released.
