Man, it’s cold! But no record-setter in SD&G

CORNWALL – No one would have blamed you if you wanted to stay indoors during the Family Day weekend.

While the weather made it almost painful to be outdoors, it didn’t break a weather record in SD&G.

The Cornwall weather station in St-Anicet, Quebec dipped to minus 26 between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. Monday morning.

That was four degrees from the record low on a Feb. 16 when it was minus 30 in 2003.

The frigid air isn’t expected to let up until Wednesday when a high of minus 8 is expected.
