SOREL-TRACY, Que. – The Cornwall River Kings lost to the Sorel Eperviers 5-2 Friday night on the road.
The Sorel power play proved to be too much for Cornwall as the Eperviers went 3-for-7 with the man advantage.
This is the seventh loss for the River Kings, who have one two out of their last 10 games.
Goalie Pete Karvouniaris took for loss, despite turning aside 38 shots.
Cornwall will be back in Sorel again Friday (Feb. 20) and then Sunday (Feb. 22) to close out a home-and-home.
