CORNWALL/SOUTH GLENGARRY – A Cornwall teen is facing a number of sex-related charges in connection to alleged cases of inappropriate contact with other youths in South Glengarry.
Police allege the male youth repeatedly engaged in sexual related incidents, which involved both boys and girls, at a home on County Road 2 in the township.
The incidents are said to have happened between June 2013 and last month.
Police opened a case file on Jan. 3 and a 16-year-old Cornwall boy was arrested six days later.
However police only released details of the case Monday.
The teen is facing two counts of sexual assault, three counts of invitation to sexual touching, two counts of sexual interference, two counts of indecent exposure, two counts of making sexually explicit material available, distribution of child pornography and two counts of uttering threats.
His name wasn’t released because he’s a minor.
He was released with a promise to appear in Cornwall court Feb. 12.
