River Kings lose to Riviere-du-Loup

CORNWALL – The Cornwall River Kings fell to the Riviere-du-Loup 3L 7-5 Saturday night at the Civic Complex.

Marc-Andre Tourigny had a five-point effort and Simon Danis-Pepin scored the game winner with 2:08 to play for the 3L win.

Scoring for Cornwall were Jean-Philippe Caron, Doug Andress, Pierre-Luc Faubert, Anthony Courcelles and Andre Sandrzyk.

There were a reported 1,528 people at the game.

The River Kings return to the ice Saturday when they host the Trois-Rivieres Blizzard.
