CORNWALL – Tony “Lightning” Luis will be taking on the undefeated North American Boxing Federation’s Karl “Dynamite” Dargan next month.
The televised bout will take place at the Fox Theater at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Ledyard, Conn., about 160 kilometers southwest of Boston, Mass.
Dargan – from Philadelphia, Pa. – has a 17-0 career record with nine knockouts.
Luis is 18-2 with seven knockouts.
The last fight Luis saw was an eight-round unanimous decision in July against the previously undefeated Wanzell Ellison of New Jersey.
The ESPN Friday Night Fights broadcast (on ESPN2) is 6 p.m. on Jan. 30, 2015.
It will air on TSN in Canada.
