SD&G – The law is the law no matter which province or state you’re driving in.
Police agencies in Ontario, Quebec and the U.S. border states are driving that point home with Operation Safety Without Borders, which launches today (Friday).
The O.P.P., Quebec Provincial Police and police services in New York, Vermont, Maine and New Hampshire are taking part.
They want to emphasize that the chance of getting caught breaking the law is the same everywhere.
As drivers head away for the Christmas holidays, possibly across the border, to abide by the laws in force when travelling outside their home province.
