CORNWALL – It’s a milestone for the Cornwall Chamber of Commerce next year.
Celebrating its 125th year, the chamber will hold its 27th Business Excellence and 43rd Citizen of the Year banquet at the Cornwall Civic Complex.
The chamber says it’s already receiving calls about the date – Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at 6 p.m.
The business awards pay tribute to professionals, companies and people who have made a positive difference in the community.
The chamber is already seeking nominations for ten awards. They are:
- Citizen of the Year
- Business
- Economic Impact
- Entrepreneur
- Lifetime Business Achievement
- Small Business
- Above and Beyond
- Team Cornwall Ambassador
- Breakthrough
- Dr. Garth Turner Humanitarian

Tickets for the awards banquet are $125 per person plus HST and are available at the chamber office at the corner of Sydney and Second Streets or by calling 613-933-4004.
