CORNWALL – Mario Joly is heading to Sorel-Tracey.
The River Kings have traded the defenceman to the Eperviers.
In return, they’re getting Michael Tessier. There was also a pick trade in the deal.
The River Kings are hoping the 6’2” forward will bring a physical element to the game. He had nine goals and 19 assists in his last season with Sorel.
Tessier may be in the lineup Saturday when Cornwall hosts Jonquiere. Game time is 7:30 p.m. at the Civic Complex.
