SOUTH STORMONT, Ont. – An almost year-long fraud investigation has led to charges for a man from L’Orignal. Police arrested the 59-year-old yesterday and charged him with three counts of fraud over $5,000. Police allege the man defrauded a South Stormont business of, what they’re calling, a substantial amount of money. The amount of money taken and the name of the business were not disclosed. The man was released with a promise to appear in court in Cornwall on October 16.
