Paths to Change is a multi-agency initiative working to reduce domestic violence in the city of Cornwall. We are working with people who are likely to become domestic violence offenders to provide counselling and case management to help reduce the risk of domestic violence in our City. Our program helps individuals find their path to healthy relationships and overcome some of life’s obstacles.  Our goal is to prevent domestic violence by addressing the root cause of the issue in an early intervention effort, and to complement existing services provided to the area.

Only a few months old, our program currently has more than half of our expected client load for our first year of funding, and that number is exponentially increasing as referrals come in from other local agencies and partnerships.  Our program is catered to fit the specific needs of each individual, and is free and completely voluntary for participants. This is part of the reason why we are looking for help fundraising, to keep this program free for clients.

“We all know that domestic violence is problem, but it isn’t something often confront in our day-to-day.  I think it’s important to take a firm stand against it, and help support positive action taken to stop the problem” says, Dylan Groulx, who will be playing lead guitar and vocals for the benefit concert.

We are working to raise funds and build awareness about the services that we provide.

Please join us on Thursday, March 3rd at 7:00pm in Schnitzel’s European Flavours Banquet Room to experience an evening of musical harmony with our special guests: Dylan Groulx, Pamela Cumming, and Nick Seguin.
