LONG SAULT – A Calgary man is accused of sexually assaulting students while he was a senior administrator at a South Glengarry school.

SD&G OPP arrested a 48-year-old man on Friday (March 1) at the Calgary police department headquarters after a two month investigation.

Police allege the assaults happened at the school 16 to 17 years ago when “students from Quebec and Ontario travelled for education and to study theology.”

The name of the institution and the accused was not disclosed.

The 48-year-old Calgarian will appear in a Cornwall court on April 3 to face two counts of sexual assault and three counts of sexual exploitation.

Police say a court-ordered publication ban has been placed on the case.
