ALEXANDRIA – A man in his 70s is dead after a head-on crash on County Road 34 early this morning (Feb. 16).
Provincial police say the collision happened just after midnight, just north of Alexandria.
A 77-year-old driver in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information has been released.
OPP traffic investigators have been on the scene.
A section of County Road 34 between Eigg Road and County Road 21 was closed this morning but reopened just before 10 a.m., according to OPP.
