Update 7:49 a.m. Friday – The Cornwall Police Service says Mason Marleau has been “safely located” and “would like to sincerely thank our community for assisting” in the search.
CORNWALL – City police are trying to locate a local man reported missing.
But investigators are being tight-lipped on any circumstances surrounding the disappearance of 33-year-old Mason Marleau.
The Cornwall Police Service would not say where or when Marleau was last seen and did not release a physical description of him.
Social media comments below the police posting on Facebook suggest Marleau has been missing for over a month.
“He’s been missing since Boxing Day, he lives with his father, he went out to pick something up at the store and never returned home, hope he is found safe,” a user with the screen name Melanie Jodoin posted.
“It’s been over a month now (he’s been missing),” Timara Marleau commented.
Cornwall Newswatch has not been able to independently confirm those details.
