SD&G – A Colorado low pressure system is expected to truck into Cornwall and SD&G late Wednesday night bringing a sizable dump of snow and high winds.

Environment Canada issued a special weather statement Tuesday saying the snow will fall heavily at times late Wednesday night creating bad driving conditions.

Up to 10 centimeters (4 inches) are expected by Thursday and the snow will be blown around by wind gusting at 50 kilometers an hour at times.

The weather agency says a “lull in snowfall” will happen on Thursday morning before another dump that afternoon.
