CORNWALL – Three people have been charged after an armed robbery at a Brookdale Avenue business.
Police say the two of the three accused went into the unnamed store on Tuesday (May 24) and pulled a gun, demanding merchandise from the staff.
They got away in a waiting vehicle with an undisclosed quantity of stuff.
The suspects were arrested by OPP a short while later outside the city.
Two men, ages 27 and 19, and a 17-year-old boy – all of no fixed address – have all been charged with robbery using a firearm and were held for a bail hearing.
While one of the accused didn’t enter the store, they are still charged with armed robbery under Canadian law for being a party to an offence.
