Fire damages Martintown home

MARTINTOWN – Fire has ripped through a home in Martintown.

Firefighters from all of South Glengarry’s five stations were dispatched to the fire on Kirk Street this afternoon (Monday).

There were no injuries but the house sustained heavy damage, the South Glengarry Fire Department tweeted.

Mutual aid from South Stormont’s St. Andrews West station also helped out at the scene.

There’s no word on a cause.
