As of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Public Health Ontario reported another 928** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 424 none, 26 partial, 401 full, 77 unknown), bringing the total to 625,312. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Monday. Of those, 606,797 are resolved (97.0 per cent) and 10,036 people have died (nine more deaths than Monday).
There are 340 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 165 in the ICU and 95 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 20,010,049 (26,136 more than Monday) and results are pending for 17,087.
Ontario has administered 24,076,464 vaccine doses (60,631 more than Monday), 11,300,708 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (48), Toronto (163), York Region (84) and Ottawa (48) account for 343 of today’s cases.
