As of 10:30 a.m. Friday, Public Health Ontario reported another 1,031** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 504 none, 27 partial, 442 full, 58 unknown), bringing the total to 621,260. That’s a 0.2 per cent increase in total cases since Thursday. Of those, 604,027 are resolved (97.2 per cent) and 10,016 people have died (four more than Thursday).
There are 286 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 146 in the ICU and 92 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,889,929 (39,748 more than Thursday) and results are pending for 16,032.
Ontario has administered 23,832,474 vaccine doses (787,013 more than Thursday), 11,281,481 fully vaccinated. (Day over day increase in doses is accurate, not a typo).
**Peel (60), Toronto (133), York Region (56) and Ottawa (58) account for 307 of today’s cases.
