As of 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Public Health Ontario reported another 959** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 446 none, 23 partial, 429 full, 61 unknown), bringing the total to 620,229. That’s a 0.2 per cent increase in total cases since Wednesday. Of those, 603,285 are resolved (97.3 per cent) and 10,012 people have died (eight more than Thursday; one death removed due to data clean-up).
There are 291 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 155 in the ICU and 85 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,850,181 (38,480 more than Wednesday) and results are pending for 17,333.
Public Health Ontario did not report vaccination data Thursday due to technical difficulties.
**Peel (75), Toronto (118), York Region (53) and Ottawa (59) account for 305 of today’s cases.
