As of 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Public Health Ontario reported another 854** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 451 none, 23 partial, 349 full, 31 unknown), bringing the total to 616,051. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Friday. Of those, 599,979 are resolved (97.4 per cent) and 9,993 people have died (two more than Friday).
There are 254 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 134 in the ICU and 87 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,699,153 (31,444 more than Friday) and results are pending for 13,818.
Ontario has administered 22,895,217 vaccine doses (29,674 more than Friday), 11,245,640 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (47), Toronto (97), York Region (48) and Ottawa (44) account for 236 of today’s cases.
