COVID-19 Ontario Update: November 23, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Public Health Ontario reported another 613** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 288 none, 30 partial, 266 full, 29 unknown), bringing the total to 612,931. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Monday. Of those, 597,470 are resolved (97.5 per cent) and 9,974 people have died (nine more than Monday; three removed based on data clean-up).

There are 282 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 134 in the ICU and 81 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,569,784 (19,859 more than Monday) and results are pending for 14,591.

Ontario has administered 22,820,451 vaccine doses (11,096 more than Monday), 11,215,575 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (35), Toronto (72), York Region (47) and Ottawa (31) account for 185 of today’s cases.
