COVID-19 Ontario Update: November 22, 2021

As of 10:30 a.m. Monday, Public Health Ontario reported another 627** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 282 none, 23 partial, 286 full, 36 unknown), bringing the total to 612,318. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Sunday. Of those, 596,753 are resolved (97.5 per cent) and 9,968 people have died (one more than Sunday).

There are 136 people in hospital (~10 per cent of hospitals not reporting weekend bed census), 133 in the ICU and 78 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,555,074 (19,552 more than Sunday) and results are pending for 6,489.

Ontario has administered 22,809,355 vaccine doses (6,488 more than Sunday), 11,208,667 fully vaccinated.

**Peel (53), Toronto (92), York Region (38) and Ottawa (32) account for 215 of today’s cases.
