As of 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Public Health Ontario reported another 512** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 250 none, 19 partial, 202 full, 41 unknown), bringing the total to 608,718. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Tuesday. Of those, 594,027 are resolved (97.6 per cent) and 9,950 people have died (12 more than Tuesday).
There are 274 people in hospital (all hospitals reporting), 133 in ICU and 77 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 19,410,723 (28,931 more than Tuesday) and results are pending for 13,473.
Ontario has administered 22,748,337 vaccine doses (15,040 more than Tuesday), 11,169,767 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (26), Toronto (54), York Region (24) and Ottawa (43) account for 147 of today’s cases.
