As of 10:30 a.m. Monday, Public Health Ontario reported another 422** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 225 none, 13 partial, 161 full, 23 unknown), bringing the total to 600,377. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Sunday. Of those, 587,344 are resolved (97.8 per cent) and 9,874 people have died (three more than Sunday).
There are 134 people in hospital (~10 per cent of hospitals not reporting weekend bed census), 133 in ICU and 84 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 18,981,582 (19,840 more than Sunday) and results are pending for 6,650.
Ontario has administered 22,522,144 vaccine doses (7,427 more than Sunday), 11,022,859 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (47), Toronto (61), York Region (41) and Ottawa (38) account for 187 of today’s cases.
