
As of 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Public Health Ontario reported another 340** cases of COVID-19 (VAX: 167 none, 12 partial, 117 full, 44 unknown), bringing the total to 599,955. That’s a 0.1 per cent increase in total cases since Saturday. Of those, 587,069 are resolved (97.9 per cent) and 9,871 people have died (two more than Saturday).
There are 104 people in hospital (~10 per cent of hospitals not reporting weekend bed census), 133 in ICU and 88 on a ventilator. The number of tests performed is 18,961,742 (25,707 more than Saturday) and results are pending for 7,935.
Ontario has administered 22,514,717 vaccine doses (15,740 more than Saturday), 11,017,767 fully vaccinated.
**Peel (26), Toronto (58), York Region (22) and Ottawa (12) account for 118 of today’s cases.
